It’s good and it works

A friend suggested I try taking a Berberine supplement after explaining its potential benefits, in particular, this one. I am pleased to report that it has definitely helped me! It has curved my appetite, which appears to have been a factor in helping my weight loss alongside the changes in diet and increase in exercise.

I had heard incredible things about Berberine and this supplement has not disappointed. The quality of the capsules and the overall look of the packaging and brand has impressed me. They are easy enough to take and the results appear to be happening sooner than I expected. Alongside a number of small lifestyle changes, I have been taking these to help with weight loss and they are helping a lot so far. I’m still mildly sceptical but the scales don’t lie! I shall keep it up and see how much I can lose with the help of these capsules.

Berberine is a new supplement I haven’t tried before. The packet is letterbox friendly, there are 90 capsules and the suggested dose is 1 a day, so nearly three months of tablets. The ingredients are berberine, gluten free brown rice flour and vegetable capsule. In my opinion that is a good mix of ingredients.

I did have to do some research on berberine, the information available points to overall lowering of cholesterol and some affect on blood sugars, I do think each person taking these needs to do their own research and talk to their gp if they are taking other meds.

My husband has started just taking these and takes daily bp readings and blood sugar readings but so far he has not seen any changes, I do understand that some supplements take time to work so he is going to finish the packet and see what if anything changes.

There are a few reviews here saying about the 200 mg extract in this product. Let me clarify.

They take 2000mg of berberine, remove the waste (the bits we don’t need, like fibres) and reduce it down to 200 mg

IT’S THE SAME AS TAKING 2000mg, and has the same amount of active compound, just minus the rubbish we don’t need.

Hope this clarifies the confusion from some of the previous reviews.

Berberine is supporting me on my journey, I changed what I was eating and used it alongside. I noticed after 2 weeks that my appetite was more under control. No side effects or constipation which I heard could happen.

This is the second purchase of these tablets, very happy with the reduced time I have bought cold viruses. One a day seems to be the help I needed.

I recently ordered this to compare to a previous brand I was using. Berberine should taste bitter and be a deep bright yellow colour, thankfully this product is both.

Yes, the bitterness isn't nice, but that's the flavour or berberine. This brand seemed much stronger and better quality than what I was using before so I will carry on with these. Initially I had some bloating a discomfort, however my partner did not - I guess it depends how your body reacts. Personally I took one dose every couple of days to start and that allowed my system to adjust.

This is a resealable pouch of 90 berberine capsules. The capsules are easy to swallow and are 2000mg strength. You need to take one a day with food.
The capsules are vegan friendly.
